微软在今天正式发布了 Windows Server 2008 RC1 和 Windows Vista SP1 RC，前者可以通过微软网站免费下载评估，而后者仅面向一部分测试人员发布。随着测试版发布越来越密集可以得知，正式的 Windows Server 2008 和 Windows Vista SP1 肯定会在接下来的一两个月内完成并投入生产，准备着发布。

Windows Server 2008 RC1 版本号为 6001.17051.071121-2029，Vista SP1 RC的版本号也应该相同。

Windows Vista SP1 RC 所有语言适用独立语言包32位大小为 548.53 MB，64位 878.52 MB。

微软Windows Server团队今天公布了Windows Server 2008 RC1，目前已经开始接受评估序列号申请和评估版本下载，此次Windows Server 2008的测试计划非常庞大，大约包含测试人员180万名(公开测试)，最终版本将在2008年2月27日的洛杉矶正式发布，同时还将推出SQL Server 2008,Visual Studio 2008和一系列产品。
